After a couple of uncertain years due to the pandemic, we are absolutely thrilled to welcome our largest team yet, to take on the London in October to spread awareness, raise funds and give hope to those living with neurological issues.
Last year saw the return of the London Marathon to an in person event in October after having to be postponed due to COVID-19. Over 200runners donned their Brain Research running vests and collectively we raised over £400,000.
Always looking to the future we’ve set the challenge in 2022of expanding our team. So far, over 250runners have chosen Brain Research UK to fundraise for and take on the challenge of 26.2 miles on London’s streets. Many of them are moved to support us through personal motivation and the direct impact neurological issues have had on them and their families. They, like us, are committed to funding the vital research needed to help prevent, and eventual cure for a range of neurological conditions.

Through all the training and hard work in preparing for the marathon though, there have been injuries and occasionally places become available. If you would like to take up the mantle and shine a light on the work we do and fundraise so we can continue this critical work please apply here
