Every year in early April, runners in the Generali Berlin Half Marathon get to experience what many athletes around the world can only dream about as they take their final strides. About a hundred metres after passing through the Brandenburg Gate, their arms will go up in celebration as they cross the finish line. This top international event offers the most exciting 21 kilometres imaginable through Berlin.
The Berlin Half Marathon offers a sightseeing tour by foot. This unique event assembles historical buildings, trendy neighbourhoods, places steeped in history, modern new buildings, cultural palaces, clubs, parks and nature in a way no other sports event in the capital can. The city tour with a sporty touch continues its trend as a hip happening in the running community. At the same time, the flat, super-fast route is also ideal for attempting to pulverise your personal best time.
