Take on England’s most iconic National Park with this stunning Ultra Challenge offering distances from 10km up to the full 100km. Join more than 1,500 Challengers walking, jogging, and running on spectacular Lake District trails.

What is the Lake District Ultra Challenge?

Set out from basecamp in Kendal, over the Garburn Pass to the charming town of Ambleside. Relax and refresh at your 50km point on the shores of Lake Windermere, before full 100km Challengers set out towards Newby Bridge and Cartmel, before heading back to the finish line in Kendal.

You can join as an individual or as a team where you can expect regular rest stops packed with food & drink, hot meals, fully marked routes, massage & medical are, marshals on course and walking the route with you, and of course an unbeatable community. There’s even camping/accommodation options & transfers available so you can plan your whole weekend smoothly.
