Leave a legacy

We know that when making a will, your first priority is to provide for your loved ones. Many people find that after this, they are able to leave a gift in their will to a cause that’s close to their heart.

Leaving a gift in your will to Brain Research UK is a wonderful way to make a lasting difference to future generations by helping to accelerate research into brain disease. It will cost you nothing in your lifetime, but will help us to make a difference in years to come. Gifts both large and small help fund long term research programmes, essential equipment, specialist departments and researchers.

We hope you’ll consider leaving a gift to Brain Research UK.

If you would like to order a copy of our new booklet ‘Your guide to making or updating your will’ which details everything you need to know about leaving a gift in your will see form below.

Discounted wills

We have teamed up with The Goodwill Partnership to offer our supporters a discounted will writing service which includes a free home-visit.

For £98 + VAT for a single will, a trained professional from The Goodwill Partnership will visit you at home to discuss your needs and will draw up instructions for writing your will. These will then be passed on to their panel of solicitors who will write up your will.

You can arrange your appointment by visiting thegoodwillpartnership.co.uk/brainresearch or by calling 0844 669 6148. Please quote Brain Research UK.

The Goodwill Partnership is completely separate from Brain Research UK and there is no obligation to leave a gift to Brain Research UK if you use The Goodwill Partnership to write your will. However, please consider leaving us a gift to ensure the best neurological research can continue, improving the lives of those affected.

As someone who has an interest in accelerating the progress of neurological research, please use the below to let us know if there are any other areas of our work that you’d like to hear about and the ways in which you prefer to be contacted.
