Collect at a funeral or memorial service

Funeral flowers

Giving in memory or in lieu of flowers is a special way to celebrate the life of a loved one whilst giving hope for the future for others with neurological conditions.

Collecting donations at a funeral helps Brain Research UK fund life-changing research and makes a lasting difference in memory of your loved one. You might choose to do this by asking family and friends to make a donation instead of buying flowers, or you could hold a collection on the day.

If the funeral or memorial service has not yet been held we are able to provide collection envelopes that you can use to make it easy for friends and family to donate. To request our envelopes, please either call us on 020 7404 9982 or contact us by email at inmemory@brainresearchuk.org.uk

We are so grateful for collections made at a funeral or memorial service and for the family and friends who want to make a difference to the lives of people suffering from neurological conditions at such a difficult time.

Online funeral collection page

Some friends and family might be unable to attend the funeral or memorial service for your loved one. You can help them to feel connected and join you in honouring their life by setting up an online Funeral Collection Tribute Page.

A Funeral Collection Tribute Page is your own special place online where you and your family and friends can share memories and pictures of your loved one and make donations in their memory. You can also use your Funeral Tribute Page to share funeral arrangements.
